How can I enable notifications on my Android device so that your app can play the next frequencies in the background?

To find out if notifications are enabled or disabled, click on the gear icon at the bottom right of the app, then click on System Information at the bottom, and finally, you will see Notification Permissions at the bottom, which will either be granted (allowed) or denied (denied).

To ensure that our app can play the next frequencies in the background, notifications must be enabled. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings:

    • Tap the gear icon on your home screen or in the app list to open Settings.

  2. Select Apps & Notifications:

    • Scroll down and tap "Apps & notifications."
      โ€‹

  3. Find Our App:

    • Tap "See all apps" or "App info" to see a list of all installed apps.

    • Scroll until you find our app, then tap on it.

  4. Enable Notifications:

    • Tap "Notifications."

    • Ensure the switch next to "Allow notifications" is turned on.

    • Check if all other notification options, such as "High priority notifications" or "Sound," are set according to your preferences.

  5. Disable Battery Optimizations:

    • Go to "Settings" > "Battery" > "Battery optimization."

    • Select "All apps" from the drop-down menu and scroll to our app.

    • Tap on it and select "Don't optimize" to ensure the app can function properly in the background.

Why are notifications important for background playback?

Notifications are essential to keep the app active in the background and play the next frequencies. Without notifications enabled, the app could be put into sleep mode by the system, interrupting the playback.
